Thanks to all those who participated in the Euchre tournament last week. In Third place was Team Jesse. In Second place was Team Cottage Kids and the tournament Champions with no losses was Team Walter - congratulations Matthew Noseworthy. For anyone interested in playing some card or board games are welcome to come out to Room 149 over lunch any day of the week.

 

Congratulations to the HT curling team.

Last Friday both the boys and girls played 3 games in the last day of league play.

The boys Noah, Zac, Tyler, Kevin and Wilbur or Dawg finished the season with 5 wins and 1 loss but had an unfortunate loss in the semi finals. 

The boys will be advancing to CWOSSA to represent Norfolk .

 

The girls team skipped by Emma Stewart had an undefeated season with 3 wins zero losses and 3 ties.

Keiara, Ally, Erica, Emma and Cameron are all first time curlers and played amazing.

The girls play Thursday ( weather permitting) for this years AABHN championship against North Park and will be representing Norfolk at CWOSSA Feb 28 to March 1st.

 

On Friday, the Junior Girls Volleyball team had their championship game against their rivals, SCS. The girls came out on top with an absolutely dominating performance that led them to a 3-0 victory, crowning them champions in the league. Special shout-out to Rachael Rogers who was a powerhouse in both the front and back row and Kelsey Giles, whose impeccable setting helped keep our offence strong. The girls will be headed to CWOSSA Thursday and Friday. Good luck Titans!

 

The Holy Trinity Junior Boys' Basketball team captured the Haldimand-Norfolk league championship with a 59-42 victory over the Delhi Raiders. The team got an outstanding effort from all 13 players. The win left the team with an overall record of 12 wins and 3 losses - undefeated in league play with a record of 11 wins and zero losses. 

 

Members of the winning team include grade 10 students Cadell Thompson, KJ Stronks, Abraham Maritim, Quintin Salverda, Mike Demaiter, Julian Van Haverbeke, Nick Bint, Carter Mychajluk, Trey D'Hondt and Grady D'Hondt. Grade 9 students include Noah Morris, Jack Palermo and Lynken Derkach. 

 

With the victory, the Titans have qualified for the CWOSSA Double 'A' Championships this weekend in Orangeville. The team is reminded of their practice today at 3:00 pm.
