Attention Grade 11 SHSM students in health and wellness! If you are considering going to Western University and are interested in Health Science or Medicine- please listen up! Discovery Days in Health Sciences are one-day events that give secondary school students the opportunity to explore a variety of career options in medicine and the health sciences. The program is delivered in partnership with universities, hospitals and research institutions across Canada. It is being held on Friday May 2nd at the University of Western and registration opens today! Please e-mail Mrs. Bouw or come and see her in room 246 today if you are interested. Priority will be given to students in Grade 11 or Grade 12 who are coming back for a 5th year. If you are not SHSM but are interested your name will be put on a waitlist to go. 

 

Attention health and wellness SHSH - students 
This spring is going to be busy with different events- so please stay tuned for announcements. 
1) Fire Training opportunity for any students in grade 12 or 11 that need certifications for their SHSM. Particularly those who did not take health care. The sign up sheet is in the office. If you are interested please sign up. There are only 22 spots! The training takes place this Friday, March 21st, during periods 1-3. You will receive an e-mail from Mrs. Bouw this week- if you require more certifications for graduation. 
2) the first of 2 cadaver labs is scheduled for April 24th. If you have not been to this before- please see me to add your name to the list.

There will be a girls rugby meeting today at the start of lunch in 239. If you plan on playing this season you must attend, if you cannot make it please email Ms Brown or Ms Zizek"
