Health care spirit wear scrubs and hoodies are available for ordering. You can pick up an order form today at lunch in the main office. They will be available in the main office until next Wed. Order forms and money are due to Mrs. Bouw on Feb 15th by 3pm. 

You do not have to be in the health care class to order.

Attention members of the Boys Varsity Hockey Team.

The team is asked to attend a MANDATORY meeting today at the start of lunch in Mr. VanParys’ room (room 242) regarding their upcoming semi-final game on Monday.

 

Today after school come out and support our girl's volleyball team as they battle it out with SCS here at home! The senior girls play at 3:00 followed by the juniors. 

 

End of the day today is the deadline to sign up for the Euchre tournament running over the lunches NEXT week. Talk to Chap Ian or sign up on the door of room 205

Attention curlers

There will be a mandatory meeting tomorrow in 153 the woodshop at 11:40.

We have practice at the curling club on Thursday at 3:30 in preparation for our tournament in Brantford on Friday the 10th.

Please be on time for the meeting today.

 

The deadline to sign up for the Euchre tournament is this Thursday. Today and tomorrow over lunch in room 149, you can come learn or get a refresher on the rules and be ready for next week's tournament.

Please make sure you return all your semester one textbooks as soon as possible. Textbooks for this semester will not be issued to you if you have textbooks outstanding from Semester 1. We are also asking that all students look around there houses for any textbooks they may not have returned in past years. With the moves to online learning over the past years there may be textbooks you have forgotten about. 

 

As part of our Black History Month, the ACE club will be having a movie night this Wednesday, February 8th immediately after school.  This week's feature will be The Hate U Give, based on Angie Thomas' best-selling novel of the same name.  Admission is free and our first film will be viewed in room 150.  A late bus will be available.

 

If you borrowed a calculator from TLC last semester and still have it out, please return it to us as soon as possible.  Thank you!

 

Attention students who took health care with Mrs. Bouw- semester 1. There will be a brief but important meeting at lunch in room 246 at 11:40am regarding the cadaver lab this semester. If you are interesting in attending you must attend the meeting today at lunch to grab a permission form. Thank you!

Please make sure you return all your semester one textbooks as soon as possible. Textbooks for this semester will not be issued to you if you have textbooks outstanding from Semester 1. Any student in grade 9, 10 or 11 who is interested in writing the University of Waterloo math contest on Wednesday, February 22nd, today is the last day to sign up.  Let your math teacher know or see Mr. Haak today in room 260.

 

You have next week to find a teammate and sign up for the HT Euchre tournament. The tournament will run over the lunches the week of February 13-17. To sign up, see Chap Ian in his office room 205. Next Tuesday and Wednesday there will be opportunities to relearn or learn how to play.

If you borrowed a calculator from TLC this semester and still have it out, please return it asap! 


During our exam days we will have the following buses departing at noon: N609, N610, N613, N616, N617, N622, N623, N624, N628 and N866. All other buses will run at normal time at the end of the day. Student are welcome to arrange to be picked up as well. These buses numbers are posted by the main office if you need to double check. 

 

Semester 2 Student Timetables will be emailed to both student and parent emails this week.

 

Today is the last day for the cafeteria. It will re-open on February 3rd.

Semester Two timetables will be emailed out early next week.  Both students and parents will receive a copy through email.

 

Any grads who wish to have grad photo retakes please add your name to the list at Michele’s desk in Student Services.

Tuesday, January 17th, 2023

Holy Trinity hosted the Swim Championship Meet yesterday and dominated in the pool.  Many swimmers achieved personal bests and should be proud of their performance.  Of the five schools in attendance, Trinity came out on top and was awarded the Championship trophy.  Congratulations!

There will be a meeting this Wednesday at lunch to share results and award ribbons to our top 3 finishers in each event.   A reminder that we also have dryland training this Wednesday morning in the weight room.  See you there.

 

For anyone interested in taking part in the Euchre tournament in February, but don't know how to play, you are welcome to come to room 149 to learn today and tomorrow and each Tuesday and Wednesday until the week of the tournament - February 13-17.

Games Club is Cancelled for today

 

Music Ministry practices are starting up again today in the music room over lunch. If anyone is interested in joining the Music Ministry team, today would be a great day to come and check it out

 

The Games Club will be hosting a Euchre Tournament the week of February 13-17 over lunches. If you are interested in signing up your team of 2, you can do so in Chap Ian's Office (room 205) next to the Chapel.  If you are interested in joining, but don't know how to play this card game, or need a refresher, there will be practice matches going on Tuesdays and Wednesdays over lunch in room 149 up until the tournament.

 

Attention all swimmers please come to guidance today at the beginning of lunch today for a brief meeting and to pick up your spirit wear.  If you have not already paid please remember to bring your money.

Anyone interested in getting volunteer hours after your exams? Come down to the phys ed office and talk to Mr. Backus about volunteering for the elementary basketball tournaments hosted at our school the two days following exams.
