The Varsity Boys Hockey Team competed in their 9thconsecutive CWOSSA Championship Tournament yesterday.
The boys started the tournament in winning fashion in their first game defeating Sacred Heart in overtime by the score of 3-2.
The boys unfortunately fell short in their second game, losing to Norwell by the score of 3-1.
Despite the loss, the boys had a chance to reach the semi-finals of the tournament if the won their next game against St. Davids.
The boys played an outstanding game but lost a heartbreaker in overtime by the score of 3-2.
Coaches VanParys, Martinow and Lichty would like to congratulate the boys on yet another great season.
You represented Holy Trinity with class both on and off the ice.
Attention everyone going on the cuisine and culture trip to Southern Italy. There will be a mandatory meeting in chef's room at lunch tomorrow. Please be sure to attend and feel free to bring your lunch

Badminton Team has been posted outside of the Physed office. Thank you for everyone who tried out. Practice for this week will be at lunch, Junior boys and girls Monday, Wednesday, Friday. Seniors Boys and Girls Tuesday and Thursday!"
Prom 2024 is coming soon! If you would like to be on the prom committee and have a say in what your prom experience is like, please attend a meeting in room 155 (D'Hulsters room) this Wednesday at the beginning of lunch.

Congratulations to the HT girls ice hockey team for defeating North Park 7-0 to qualify for the CWOSSAA tournament held Monday and Tursday. Good luck girls!
Attention all grade 12 students who are planning to come back for a 5th year in September.
Course selection and fifth year forms are now past due. Please select your courses on myblueprint and bring your signed myblueprint signoff sheet as well as the blue fifth year form and your activity fee of $40 to guidance, by Tuesday.
Students: If you have not yet submitted your signed course selection sheet, please bring them to guidance by Tuesday March 5th.

Yesterday we had several students participate in our board level skills competition. Congratulations to Jillian Haak who placed first in Architectural Tech Design. There was an Awesome performance by Andrew O'Neail and Micah Hurley who placed 2nd in the Team of Two carpentry competition and by Selena Antolini with her second place finish in culinary skills. Also a big shoutout to Kevin Rooney, Marco Garcia, Olivia Mustonen and Austin Ivany for their awesome representation of Holy Trinity.

Attention all students: Signed course selection sheets for the 2024-2025 school year are now past due. Please bring in your myblueprint signed form to guidance and ensure that your $40 activity fee has been paid through school cash online or by cheque or cash to guidance. Any returning grade 12's must also submit the blue 5th year form.
Attention grads: Please make sure that you have completed the grad survey on trinitycatholic.ca by the end of the day today. Gown orders are going in tomorrow.
You have 4 days to order your Titan Folk Spirit Wear! No late orders will be accepted. All orders must be in by 11:59 on March 3rd. Make sure you get yours as this is a one time offer! The link to order can be found on the school Twitter page and the student council Instagram bio page.

Titan Folk Spirit wear is now available for purchase for a limited time! The link for purchase has been sent to parents and guardians and posted on the school Twitter account. You have until March 3rd to get yours! These will be allowed on our Friday spirit wear days! $5.00 from every item will be donated to the school.
All library books from Semester 1 are now overdue.
Please return books and put them in the BOOK RETURN slot to the left as you come in the library doors

The Varsity Boys Hockey Team completed their regular season winning their ninth consecutive league championship defeating Simcoe by the score of 4-2.

and Tyler Harding with the game winning goal with just under 3 minutes to play to secure the victory

Any girls interested in playing lacrosse for HT's first team are to come down for a very important meeting at the start of lunch in the gym and speak with Mr. Backus about the upcoming season.

Next years Course selections are due Tuesday February 27 or Wednesday Feb. 28th. Students will be called down with their homeroom classes during period 1 to submit their selections. Please complete selections over the weekend and bring in your myblueprint signoff sheet on Tuesday. Classes for students who submit their forms late will not be guaranteed. Parents will also need to log in to school cash online to pay the $40 activity fee.
Attention grads: Community service hours are past due. Please be sure to complete your 40 Community Service hours for a not for profit organization and submit them before March 30th so we are able to order your diploma.

For grade 11 and 12 students who are involved in school life please visit www.trinitycatholic.ca and print off the application under student life. Applications must be completed, signed by staff reps and submitted no later than May 17th at 3pm. in order to be eligible for these prestigious awards.
Attention Grade 12 college or university bound students. Please log in to your OUAC or OCAS account and ensure that all of your grades are listed correctly as well as all of the course that you are currently enrolled in- especially if you have made timetable changes. If there is an error please see Michele in guidance ASAP.
Attention grade 10 students: Each year HOBY Canada puts on a 3 day leadership conference for grade 10 students to develop leadership skills and meet like minded students from across the province. This years conference is at the University of Guelph- Ridgetown Campus from May 3-5. If you are interested in being a Holy Trinity representative for this conference Please come down to guidance for more information.

The Jr. Girls' put up a great fight against North Park in their CWOSSAA challenger game. Despite some great blocks and awesome hits, North Park managed to get the better. What a great season ladies! Be proud of what you accomplished!

A huge congratulations goes out to the Junior Girls Volleyball team, who finished first in the league after defeating Cayuga in four sets on Friday night. The coaches are so proud of the girls for the competitive spirit they brought to the high-pressure game. Their success is well deserved, as they fought for every point. The champions continue their season tonight with a CWOSSA qualifier game against North Park. Way to go ladies!

Hey Titans, it's time to clean up after a long weekend! Pick up your empties! Ask your neighbors too, and bring those bottles and cans in both today and tomorrow to the shipping doors between 3:00 and 5:00pm. All donations will help off-set the cost of busing for students travelling this March Break. All donations are greatly appreciated!
Congratulations to the HT Curling team for a successful round robin season. The team went 4-1 and are in first place going into the semis against Assumption this Friday at the Simcoe curling club.
