Today's Bible Study and Social is cancelled and will resume NEXT Monday over lunch in the Chapel.
Attention SHSM students going to the carpenters union in Cambridge Tuesday with Mr. Ellis.
Please be in the front lobby Tuesday morning by 8:45to get on the bus for the trip.
Please bring your steel toe boots or shoes and a hard hat if you have one.
Remember, lunch will be provided on Tuesday.

Attention Grads, all photo appointments are now booked. If you did not get an appointment at this time, you will be able to in February.
The last Ontario Universities' Information Sessions virtual event is Thursday, November 21, from 5 to 7 pm (ET). The event is divided into 4 half-hour sessions where students can choose which university sessions they want to attend.
Students can get more info and must sign up to access the event website at ouevents@ouac.on.ca
There will be an information night for all accelerated OYSP Level 1 applicants this Thursday, November 21st from 6pm-7:30pm at Mohawk College in Stoney Creek. any students/parents who are interested in applying This year or in the future should attend to get more information about this excellent opportunity.

Attention SHSM students - this is the final call for anyone interested in attending the Fanshawe College tour next week on Monday Nov. 25th. Please see Mrs. Bouw for a permission form today.
Attention students signed up for the University of Guelph SHSM trip on Thursday Nov. 28th- please see Mrs. Bouw in room 246 after period 1 - by Wednesday this week to get your permission forms to attend. All students who have signed up in the main office are eligible to go.
Attention health care club students- please check the HEJA app for important information regarding this week's meeting. We are meeting on Friday Nov. 22nd to accommodate our guest speaker's schedule. Please RSVP in the Heja app if you are planning to attend. We will need at least 15 participants to attend in order to confirm our guest speaker. If you have not installed the HEJA app yet- please drop by the health care classroom to get the group code to join the health care club on HEJA. Any questions? Please see Mrs. Bouw in room 246.

Any girls interested in trying out for junior girls volleyball are asked to sign up outside Mrs Mayne’s room 210. There are also two forms that must be taken and signed and returned the day of the first tryout.
The first tryout will run Tuesday, November 19th after school from 3pm until 4:30pm
"Jr. Boys basketball tryouts are this week! They are scheduled for 7AM on Tuesday, 3PM on Wednesday and 7AM on Friday. Permission forms must be filled out and handed to Mr. Backus or Mr. Bates before the first tryout. If you are interested in trying out, but are unable to attend one or more tryouts, you must contact one of the coaches ahead of time. Please arrive on time and in gym clothes."

The junior boys volleyball team's season came to a tough end last night with a loss to Paris. Plagued with injuries and illness the boys stepped up and gave Paris a run for their money even dominating the 2nd set 25-14. The boys showed lots of growth over the season and the coaches are confident in another strong season next year!

Attention all senior girls interested in joining the senior girls volleyball team! A sign-up sheet and the permission forms are available outside room 225. Please be sure to bring your signed form to the first tryout next week. There will be on upcoming announcement about the date and time of our first tryout later on this week. The coaches are looking forward to a great season!
Are you interested in joining HT’s cheer team? Come to a short meeting today (Wednesday) in room 255 at the start of lunch.
There is a sign up sheet outside room 255. Add your name to the sign up sheet and collect a permission form. You must have a signed permission form to try out.
Try outs will be held Monday November 18th and Tuesday November 19th after school in the small gym from 3:00 - 5:30 pm. You must attend both tryouts in order to be considered for the team.

Attention Swifties! Don't forget to stop by the library at lunch today for the Eras Tour Trinity's Version. We'll be making friendship bracelets, and we have stickers, colouring pages, and temporary tattoos. While supplies last.
Reminder that there is no food or drink in the library. Please always eat your lunch before visiting the library.
Any girls interested in playing Junior Girls Volleyball are asked to sign up outside of Mrs. Mayne's room which is 210. They must also take the TWO forms there and get them signed. Please make sure to listen to announcements, as tryout dates will follow shortly! (PLAY THIS ONE ALL WEEK!)

Attention SHSM students in health and wellness! This is the final reminder to sign up in the main office for our Fanshawe College tour of the Simcoe Campus where you will get to take part in seeing their patient simulation classrooms! This trip is taking place on Monday Nov. 25th. Sign up sheet is in the main office.
This is a final reminder to also sign up for the University of Guelph microbiology session on Thursday Nov 28th. You will get to hear from a panel of experts on the microbiology, epidemiology and nutrition fields. The sign up sheets will be up in the main office until this Wednesday.

Both the junior and senior girls basketball team are AABHN champions after winning their games last night! Congratulations!
Both teams will advance to the CWOSSA qualifier on Tuesday against Paris and McKinnon Park
