Monday, March 25th, 2024
A reminder to all grade 12 students – The Community service hours forms with a detailed description of completed hours for non-profit organizations must be submitted this week. Diplomas need to be ordered and therefore hours must be completed. Please bring your hours to guidance before the end of the week or see your guidance counsellor if this is not possible.
There's a very important music ministry practice in the music room (room 147) over lunch today.
Bible study this week is moved to Wednesday over lunch in the chapel.

Any students interested in trying out for the girls soccer team to next two tryouts are Monday and Thursday after school. Final cuts will be made after Thursday. If you have any questions see Mrs. Haak in room 212.
Spring scholarships have sprung!
Grade 12's - there are many scholarship opportunities available and can be viewed using the QR code and/or the scholarship board in guidance. Due April 30th, the Chelsea Addison Memorial Scholarship is awarded to a student entering the mental health field or has suffered a mental health challenge. Interested students are asked to complete the application form by April 30th.

Congratulations to the HT Girls hockey team making it to the quarter finals at the OFSAA girls hockey Championships! The coaches wish all the graduating players the best of luck in the future. It was a great season and the coaches are very proud of the teams efforts.
A special thank you goes out to Mr. Backus and the principals and Mrs McCallum for their help in organizing the great experience for the team. Looking forward to another great season next year!!

Attention Titans!
If you wish to order a health card hoodie for sprint wear- order forms are available in the main office. Hoodies are $45 or $50 with last name on the back. Order forms and payment are due next Tuesday. Please see Mrs. Bouw in the health care class - room 246 if you have any questions.

Delhi skating club is looking for volunteers this Saturday to help run their annual carnival. Please see Ms Hanson asap if you are interested!
Attention Grade 11 and 12 students interested in attending the Health Science Discovery Days at Western University on Friday, May 3rd, - please come to a brief but important meeting Tuesday (today) at the beginning of lunch in room 246. If you have previously expressed an interest you would have also received an e-mail from Mrs. Bouw yesterday.
Also- the Health Care Club will not be meeting this week- our next scheduled meeting will be on Wednesday March 27th.New members are always welcome.

All Hoops 4 Heart participants must submit their forms + pledges to the Phys Ed office by the end of the day.
Please ensure you have signed your team up with Mr. Flynn.
We want to give a huge Shout Out and recognize all the Holy Trinity swimmers who attended the OFSAA provincial championships in Toronto on Tuesday and Wednesday this week. It is an incredible accomplishment to qualify and compete at this level!!
We had 4 swimmers qualify for Individual events. Xavier Azzopardi competed in the 50 metre breaststroke, Sweed Babin in the 50 metre and 100 metre freestyle, Amanda Rogers in the 100 metre freestyle and Alexis Revai in the 100 metre breaststroke. We were impressed by all performances with many personal best swims achieved.
Congratulations to all of these provincial competitors, and to the entire Holy Trinity swim team. It’s been a great swim season!!

Congratualtions to the Girls Ice hockey team for making history yesterday with their first ever CWOSSA girls hockey Title !!!
Going undefeated in round robin play and defeating the OFSSAA defending Champions St. David's 3-2 in the Championship game!
Please congratulate the girls and wish them luck as they are of to OFFSSA March 19-21st!

The Varsity Boys Hockey Team competed in their 9thconsecutive CWOSSA Championship Tournament yesterday.
The boys started the tournament in winning fashion in their first game defeating Sacred Heart in overtime by the score of 3-2.
The boys unfortunately fell short in their second game, losing to Norwell by the score of 3-1.
Despite the loss, the boys had a chance to reach the semi-finals of the tournament if the won their next game against St. Davids.
The boys played an outstanding game but lost a heartbreaker in overtime by the score of 3-2.
Coaches VanParys, Martinow and Lichty would like to congratulate the boys on yet another great season.
You represented Holy Trinity with class both on and off the ice.
Attention everyone going on the cuisine and culture trip to Southern Italy. There will be a mandatory meeting in chef's room at lunch tomorrow. Please be sure to attend and feel free to bring your lunch

Prom 2024 is coming soon! If you would like to be on the prom committee and have a say in what your prom experience is like, please attend a meeting in room 155 (D'Hulsters room) this Wednesday at the beginning of lunch.

Attention all grade 12 students who are planning to come back for a 5th year in September.
Course selection and fifth year forms are now past due. Please select your courses on myblueprint and bring your signed myblueprint signoff sheet as well as the blue fifth year form and your activity fee of $40 to guidance, by Tuesday.
Students: If you have not yet submitted your signed course selection sheet, please bring them to guidance by Tuesday March 5th.
