The Jr. Boys volleyball played such a strong quarter final game last night against the tough Valley Heights team, even down a few players to injuries. The boys lost the first set, but won the second - both games going to 27 points. But it was the 3rd set where things really took off. Down 21-14 at one point, the boys played a strong mental game and came back to win 25-23 and kept the momentum going into the 4th set winning the game 3 sets to 1.
Coaches are super proud - rest up - you've all earned it and we'll see you Thursday at the semi finals!
Yesterday morning, the Senior Boys Volleyball team made their way to SCS to play the first place Sabres. After a tough first set loss, the boys played the next set to win. Unfortunately, the boys ended up losing sets 2 and 3 by 2 points. The coaches want to take this time to say how proud they are, especially about the play out there yesterday. There were excellent sets from Ben Simmons and some powerful swings from powers Justin Balbuena and Trey D’Hondt and middle, Isaac Gascoigne. Special shoutout to Ethan Spriet who made some great digs off of some tough hits.
Great job boys! Make sure to keep an eye out on the Heja app for a potential qualifier!
